Alliance players also tend to have more pride in their race than the blanket faction because of this. Horde players accept and are attracted to the unifided warband wow gold farming that the Horde essentially is while the Alliance was put together as a literally just a loose alliance of races to defend their homes against the Horde and Burning Legion.

The Alliance doesn't have an overwhelming unified fanbase in the same way as the Horde just because of the way the factions have been written and developed. I can say firsthand that I have more attachment to the Dwarves and loyalty to the Council of Three Hammers than I do to the Alliance faction and from what I've seen on the plethora of lore and story boards both here and fansites, this is common trait among Alliance players and their races.
